LONGi has launched LONGi ONE, its new integrated energy storage portfolio for the Iberian market, with the Hi-MO One Pro at its core. The modular 261 kWh hybrid energy storage platform was developed for commercial and industrial applications and integrates five in-house developed core components, allowing for coordinated system control, optimized performance, and enhanced operational safety. At the heart of the platform is LONGi's patented iCCS predictive safety technology, which combines high-precision battery monitoring with multi-parameter analysis to identify abnormal battery behavior months before conventional warning systems would typically detect a risk. The Hi-MO One Pro will be presented at Intersolar Europe 2026. As part of its Iberian market offer, LONGi will also provide the OmniCube L233 commercial and industrial storage platform and PotisBank-L5.0 utility-scale energy storage systems. Together, these solutions address applications ranging from self-consumption optimization and peak shaving to large-scale renewable integration, grid balancing, and industrial energy management. The launch of LONGi ONE marks LONGi's entry into the Iberian energy storage market and reflects the company's strategy to combine advanced back contact solar technology with intelligent energy storage solutions for increasingly complex energy environments.

Hi-MO One Pro for commercial and industrial energy environments
Hi-MO One Pro is a modular 261 kWh hybrid energy storage platform designed for complex commercial and industrial energy environments. As part of the LONGi ONE portfolio, the system integrates EMS, BMS, PCS, thermal management, and LONGi's patented iCCS predictive safety technology within a single coordinated architecture. It supports both AC- and DC-coupled configurations, backup durations from 2 to 24 hours, and flexible "1+11" expansion, allowing businesses to scale storage capacity as operational requirements evolve. The liquid-cooled platform operates in ambient temperatures from -30°C to +55°C and supports microgrid and off-grid applications alongside conventional grid-connected deployments.
The system was developed for sites where photovoltaics, storage, diesel generators, charging infrastructure, and grid interaction must operate together within a unified energy management framework. Typical applications include manufacturing facilities, logistics centers, industrial campuses, commercial buildings, data centers, and EV charging hubs. In addition to self-consumption optimization and peak shaving, Hi-MO One Pro supports intelligent load management, energy arbitrage, backup power, and microgrid operation, helping businesses improve energy resilience while increasing the value of locally generated renewable electricity.
For commercial and industrial customers requiring a compact storage solution, LONGi also offers the OmniCube L233. The liquid-cooled system combines 232.96 kWh of storage capacity and 125 kW output within a footprint of only 1.35 m². Separate cooling circuits for the battery and power conversion system maintain temperature deviation within 3°C, supporting long-term performance, operational stability, and a cycle life of at least 8,000 cycles. The system supports peak shaving, load shifting, emergency backup power, microgrid operation, and photovoltaic-storage integration.
Utility-scale storage for renewable integration and grid support
For larger energy projects, LONGi is introducing the PotisBank utility-scale storage platform. The PotisBank-L5.0 system was developed for renewable integration, energy shifting, grid balancing, and industrial-scale storage applications.
The PotisBank-L5.0 provides 5.0 MWh of storage capacity within a liquid-cooled containerized architecture and achieves up to 94% round-trip efficiency. Based on a 1500 V DC architecture and 314 Ah LFP battery cells, the platform combines predictive monitoring, active fire protection, and thermal management designed to maintain battery temperature variation within ±3°C.
The systems is designed for operation in demanding environments from -30°C to +55°C and support utility developers, independent power producers, and industrial operators seeking large-scale storage capacity alongside renewable generation assets.

iCCS brings predictive safety to energy storage
A key differentiator across the LONGi ONE storage portfolio is the company's proprietary iCCS predictive safety technology. The TÜV-certified early warning system continuously monitors battery behavior at cell level and evaluates operating parameters including voltage, temperature, gas formation, valve openings, electrolyte leaks, and changes in internal resistance. Changes in cell behavior can be identified up to three to six months before potential thermal events occur. The system can also detect early gas formation more than 25 minutes before potentially critical conditions develop and identify valve openings several minutes before a potential thermal runaway event. This predictive approach supports proactive maintenance planning, improved operational reliability, reduced downtime risk, and enhanced system safety throughout the operational lifetime of the storage asset.

Energy storage gains importance in Iberia as renewable penetration continues to rise
Iberia’s rapid renewable energy expansion is creating new opportunities as well as new operational challenges. Spain added approximately 13.8 GW of solar capacity in 2025 alone, while periods of zero or negative electricity prices have become increasingly frequent as solar generation continues to grow. In 2025, more than 800 hours were recorded at zero or negative prices, and the Iberian market experienced a record 397 hours of negative pricing during the first quarter of 2026. At the same time, grid operators are managing increasing volumes of curtailed renewable electricity during periods of surplus generation. These developments are accelerating demand for energy storage solutions that can improve flexibility, support grid stability, increase self-consumption, and help capture greater value from renewable electricity generation.
As renewable penetration continues to increase, the ability to generate, store, and intelligently manage electricity is becoming a key differentiator for energy users and project developers. LONGi ONE was developed to address these evolving market requirements. The portfolio supports businesses, project developers, and energy operators in generating, storing, and managing electricity more effectively. With the launch of LONGi ONE in Iberia, LONGi is expanding its portfolio beyond solar generation technology and responding to growing demand for integrated energy management solutions across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.
