Hi-MO X10 Guardian
Anti-Glare

Precision glare control for
sensitive infrastructure

Solar Glare has become a permitting risk.
Anti-Glare 2.0 Is the Answer.

For projects near airports, transport corridors, and residential zones, glare risk is increasingly treated as a permitting factor. In sensitive commercial and infrastructure environments, uncontrolled solar reflection can delay approvals, complicate stakeholder alignment, and increase project risk.

How the optical surface reduces reflection

The Anti-Glare module is based on an integrated cell and glass light management design, combining HPBC light trapping cell architecture with high-transparency, low-reflection glass.
At cell level, the HPBC light trapping structure increases light absorption and reduces front-side reflection compared to conventional cell surfaces. At glass level, the embossed surface modifies surface roughness to reduce the brightness of reflected light spots while increasing light transmittance.
According to laboratory measurements referenced in the presentation, total reflectivity is reduced from 2.9% in conventional structures to 0.9% in the optimized design (data from a Singapore SAC-certified OTM laboratory). This optical design is further validated through independent TÜV Rheinland testing.
The module achieved a maximum Daylight Glare Probability (DGP) of 0.29, corresponding to an AAA classification under EN 17037, defined as imperceptible glare under the applied evaluation methodology. Maximum measured glare luminance was 2,480 cd/m².
