Since our foundation in 2000, we have been pioneering some of the most impactful changes in the global PV industry, such as the shift from polycrystalline to monocrystalline silicon.

What characterizes us is our strong R&D. As a first mover in the global PV market, LONGi has broken the photovoltaic (PV) cell conversion efficiency record 18 times in a row since 2021. In 2024, we achieved two cell efficiency world records, 34.6% for crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells, and 27.30% for crystalline silicon Heterojunction Back Contact (HBC) solar cells.

LONGi’s HPBC 2.0 shows superior hot-spot control with temperatures up to 60 °C lower than TOPCon in TÜV anti-shading performance test

TÜV Rheinland has confirmed the superior anti-shading performance of LONGi’s HPBC 2.0 technology. In comparative testing, HPBC 2.0 modules showed up to 77 °C lower hot-spot temperatures and significantly reduced power attenuation compared with TOPCon products, demonstrating enhanced reliability and safety under real-world shading conditions.
