LONGi is expanding its presence in the Benelux energy storage market with the introduction of LONGi ONE, a storage portfolio designed for commercial and industrial applications. At the center of the portfolio is Hi-MO One Pro, a 261-kWh hybrid storage platform that combines energy management, power conversion, battery management, thermal control, and predictive safety technologies within a unified system architecture. The solution will be presented at Intersolar Europe 2026. LONGi's Benelux storage offering also includes the OmniCube L233 platform, a compact storage solution developed for businesses seeking flexible deployment within limited installation space. Together, these solutions support applications ranging from self-consumption optimization and peak shaving to EV charging integration, backup power, and microgrid operation.
The introduction of LONGi ONE reflects the company's strategy to complement advanced back contact solar technology with intelligent storage solutions. Across the Benelux region, growing solar deployment, increasing electrification, and pressure on grid infrastructure are creating demand for solutions that can store, manage, and optimize electricity more effectively. LONGi ONE was developed to help businesses improve flexibility, increase utilization of renewable generation, and make more efficient use of available grid capacity.

Storage architecture for increasingly complex energy systems
Hi-MO One Pro was developed for energy environments where photovoltaic generation, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, backup systems, and grid interaction must operate as part of a coordinated energy strategy. The platform provides 261 kWh of storage capacity and integrates five in-house developed core technologies within a single liquid-cooled system architecture.
The system combines energy management (EMS), battery management (BMS), power conversion (PCS), thermal management, and LONGi's patented and TÜV-certified iCCS predictive safety technology. It supports both AC- and DC-coupled configurations, configurable backup durations of up to 24 hours, and flexible "1+11" expansion. This allows storage capacity to grow alongside operational requirements. The system operates in ambient temperatures from -30°C to +55°C and is suitable for microgrid, off-grid, and grid-connected applications.
Typical deployment scenarios include logistics centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, business parks, data centers, and EV charging infrastructure. The platform supports self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, intelligent load management, energy arbitrage, backup power, and microgrid operation.
OmniCube L233: Compact storage for space-constrained sites
For customers seeking a compact storage solution with a small installation footprint, LONGi offers the OmniCube L233. The liquid-cooled platform combines 232.96 kWh of storage capacity and 125 kW output within just 1.35 m² of floor space.
Independent cooling circuits for the battery system and power conversion system maintain temperature variation within 3°C. The architecture supports stable operation, long-term performance, and a cycle life of at least 8,000 cycles. The platform is suitable for peak shaving, load shifting, emergency backup power, photovoltaic-storage integration, and microgrid applications.
The compact design makes the OmniCube L233 particularly suitable for commercial sites where available space is limited but demand for flexibility and energy management continues to increase.

Cell-level monitoring provides early warning of battery abnormalities
A key differentiator across the LONGi ONE storage portfolio is the company's proprietary iCCS predictive safety technology. The TÜV-certified early warning system continuously monitors battery behavior at cell level and evaluates operating parameters including voltage, temperature, gas formation, valve openings, electrolyte leaks, and changes in internal resistance.
Changes in cell behavior can be identified up to three to six months before potential thermal events occur. The system can also detect early gas formation more than 25 minutes before potentially critical conditions develop and identify valve openings several minutes before a potential thermal runaway event.
This approach enables earlier intervention and more informed maintenance decisions. Operators gain greater visibility into battery health, reduce the likelihood of unexpected downtime, and improve operational reliability throughout the lifetime of the storage asset.

Grid constraints and electrification increase demand for storage
The Benelux region continues to expand renewable electricity generation and electrification. The Netherlands exceeded 28 GW of installed solar capacity in 2025, while Belgium surpassed 12 GW. At the same time, grid congestion has become an increasing challenge for businesses seeking additional connection capacity, expanding operations, or deploying new renewable energy assets.
Commercial and industrial energy users are investing in rooftop solar, EV charging infrastructure, logistics electrification, and other electrified processes. These developments are increasing demand for storage solutions that can improve self-consumption, manage peak loads, and make more effective use of existing grid connections.
LONGi ONE was developed to address these requirements. The portfolio combines intelligent energy management, scalable storage capacity, and predictive safety technology to help businesses generate, store, and manage electricity more effectively in increasingly complex energy environments.
