LONGi and Aprilice Launch Hi-MO X10 in the Nordics with First EcoLife Installation
It was a special occasion for Carl Andersson from the LONGi Nordic team, who met with Aprilice’s CEO and Co-Founder Jing-Wei Sheng to revisit the first-ever installation of the EcoLife module Hi-MO X10 in Northern Europe - fittingly located on Sheng’s own private home. And really, what better place to explore the full potential of LONGi’s latest back contact module? As part of the newly launched EcoLife Series, the X10 isn’t just about high performance. It’s about making advanced solar technology a part of everyday living.
“LONGi is a brand that’s very close to our heart,” said Sheng. “It stands for quality and innovation, and the X10 brings a lot of new, exciting technology to the market.”
Established in 2012, Aprilice has grown to become one of the largest distributors of photovoltaic solutions in Scandinavia.

Perfect for the Performance in Nordic Conditions
The EcoLife module is part of LONGi's new residential lineup using back contact (BC) cell technology. By placing all electrical contacts on the rear side of the cell, this design eliminates shading on the front, increases light absorption, and improves aesthetics.
Sheng noted that the superior low-light performance was a key factor in his decision.
In Scandinavia, we have long winters and less sunlight during the year. The ability of the Hi-MO X10 to maintain high output even in low-light conditions is a major advantage for homeowners in our region.
This installation serves as a real-world showcase of how the EcoLife module can perform in challenging environments, turning Scandinavian rooftops into highly productive, sustainable energy systems.
LONGi and Aprilice share a vision for advancing solar in the Nordics. “Both of our brands have very high value in the customer’s eyes,” said Sheng. “They know they’re getting quality, year after year.”
The demonstration installation sets the tone for broader market adoption of high-efficiency modules across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark - regions known for their environmental commitment and growing interest in premium solar solutions.
The first EcoLife installation in the Nordics is more than a technical milestone. It’s a symbol of trust, partnership, and a shared commitment to driving solar innovation. With Aprilice and LONGi working side by side, the Scandinavian market is well-positioned to lead in quality and performance as demand for solar continues to grow.
