Procarte, a strategic partner of LONGi in Poland, visited LONGi’s photovoltaic module manufacturing facility in Jiaxing, China, together with a group of local business partners. The visit provided an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the production processes and technologies behind LONGi’s latest PV solutions.
AI driven and automated manufacturing at the Jiaxing production site ensures high performance and module consistency
Representatives of Procarte, an authorized distributor of LONGi Solar products in Poland, had the opportunity to visit the world’s only PV module factory recognized as a Lighthouse Factory. This prestigious distinction, awarded by the World Economic Forum, is granted to manufacturing sites that set global standards in intelligent production.
The Jiaxing facility leverages advanced systems based on artificial intelligence and automation to support quality control, process optimization, and efficient production management. This enables a high level of consistency in module performance and ensures stable output at scale.
Modules manufactured at the facility are based on Hybrid Passivated Back Contact 2.0 (HPBC 2.0) technology, including the high-efficiency Hi-MO X10 and EcoLife series, designed for both commercial projects and residential installations.
First-hand insight into manufacturing is building trust among the Polish installation companies
The strategic cooperation between LONGi and Procarte began in 2025. As a distributor operating across Central and Eastern Europe, Procarte continues to expand its partner network, including installation companies and project developers.
The visit also included Procarte’s local business partners, among them specialized installation companies delivering both commercial and residential projects. Seeing the production process firsthand, combined with discussions with the LONGi team, enabled participants to better understand the specifics of the solutions offered and their technological advantages.
Meetings in Jiaxing also created space for discussions on further sales activities and joint marketing initiatives across CEE markets.
The Shanghai visit offers a closer look at China’s fast-evolving technology environment
The visit agenda also included time in Shanghai, one of China’s leading economic and technological hubs. The city provides important context for understanding the scale and speed of development in the domestic market in China.
Participants had the opportunity to observe how modern urban infrastructure operates in practice and how rapidly technology-driven solutions are evolving in the business environment. The contrast between historical architecture and a highly modern skyline further highlights the pace of transformation that defines the Chinese economy.
This manufacturing experience strengthens the long-term competitiveness of regional partners
First-hand experience of the manufacturing process, combined with access to technological expertise, enhances the capabilities of participating companies and supports the development of the photovoltaic market in Central and Eastern Europe.
The visit to China confirms a shared commitment to advancing modern, efficient energy solutions and building a strong, long-term market presence.
