LONGi and KENO have solidified their long-standing partnership through a new strategic agreement for the supply of 350 MW of high-efficiency monocrystalline modules. This Memorandum of Understanding covers the period from January 2026 through the end of 2027 and underscores the shared commitment of both companies to the European solar market. The agreement was finalized in Shanghai by Jia Chao, President of the LONGi Europe Business Center, and Pawel Grzegorczyk, President and Owner of KENO Group, to ensure a stable supply of advanced PV technology for the region.
Eight years of strategic partnership support the European distribution network
The collaboration between LONGi and KENO began in 2018. In addition to module supply, both parties have established multiple co-marketing agreements to support market growth. This signing marks a new stage in this strategic partnership. It combines the pan-European distribution network of KENO with the technology of LONGi to provide reliable solutions for commercial and industrial owners throughout Europe. Through this cooperation, both companies aim to support a stable and efficient energy future for the region.
Advanced back contact technology and shading optimization maximize system safety and performance
The cooperation focuses on the Hi-MO X10 series, which utilizes the second generation of back contact technology known as HPBC 2.0 along with TaiRay wafers. These technical advancements allow the modules to reach a mass-production efficiency of 24.8 percent and a maximum power output of 670 W. These technical specifications meet the high-performance requirements of the European commercial and industrial sectors.
Furthermore, the integrated shading optimizer technology reduces power output loss by 70 percent and decreases localized temperatures by up to 28 degrees Celsius. This temperature reduction minimizes the risk of hotspots and system fires. These combined features ensure that the Hi-MO X10 series provides the high performance, efficiency, and stability expected by the European solar market.
