nadinebuetow@longi.comLONGi has once again earned top recognition from the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC), receiving the "Overall Highest Achiever" award in the 2025 PV Module Index Report. This marks the seventh consecutive year LONGi has secured RETC’s highest distinction, which honors manufacturers that demonstrate consistently superior results in reliability, performance, and manufacturing quality.
RETC, an independent U.S.-based testing and certification body, is known for its demanding protocols that go beyond IEC certification standards. Its annual PV Module Index Report evaluates photovoltaic modules from leading global manufacturers across three main categories: Module Reliability, Performance, and Manufacturing Quality.
Top results across reliability and performance testing categories
LONGi’s modules achieved outstanding results in multiple categories, including top marks in reliability tests such as Damp Heat (DH), Potential Induced Degradation (PID), Thermal Cycling (TC), and Static & Dynamic Mechanical Load (SDML). In high-performance evaluations, LONGi stood out in key areas such as Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LETID), Light Induced Degradation (LID), Temperature Coefficient, and PAN File output accuracy.
Only 13% of modules tested in 2025 met RETC’s rigorous thresholds
According to the report, only 13% of the total modules evaluated this year met RETC's rigorous testing standards. LONGi’s consistent presence among the top-performing manufacturers highlights the strength of its R&D, production quality, and long-term product reliability. Achieving this recognition for seven straight years places LONGi in an elite category of manufacturers and reaffirms its leadership in high-quality solar module manufacturing on a global scale.
