This year, LONGi was nominated in three categories at the gala: Emerging Technology of the Year, Power Excellence Award, and Corporate Impact Award. The program featured 211 finalists from 166 companies globally, with 21 winners selected across all categories.

The nominations reflect LONGi's unwavering commitment to developing high-efficiency solar technologies and translating innovation into tangible impact. In global markets, including Europe, the company collaborates with partners across the value chain to strengthen energy resilience and support the transition to low-carbon systems.

LONGi was ultimately honored with the Corporate Impact Award. The jury recognized projects that go beyond technological achievements to directly contribute to socio-economic development by providing access to reliable, affordable renewable energy.

Access to Clean Energy as a Shared Responsibility

One of the initiatives highlighted in the Corporate Impact Award was a solar-powered drinking water project in Linga Linga, Mozambique, implemented with European partners, including photovoltaic engineering firm Senergia and NGO Project Vita. This project addressed the lack of reliable power and access to clean water in a remote coastal community with limited grid infrastructure.

A LONGi-supplied rooftop photovoltaic system powers a water pump and a water tower serving a local maternity clinic. The solar installation enables the continuous operation of the water system, delivering clean running water to medical staff and patients. This has improved hygiene conditions and supported routine clinical operations, particularly in maternal and child care.

The project illustrates how solar technology can bring practical infrastructure improvements to regions with limited energy and water access. It also demonstrates how renewable energy solutions can contribute to greater resilience and the delivery of essential public services beyond mere energy generation.
