The LONGi EcoLife Program has launched! Share your best solar projects from anywhere in Europe

Across Europe, more than 20 million households and over 1.5 million commercial buildings are now equipped with solar panels, a number that continues to grow rapidly according to SolarPower Europe and a study from 2024. But beyond supportive policy and rising energy prices, one key factor stands out: visibility and the role of role models.

A widely cited study from Yale and the University of Connecticut found that a single visible residential solar installation can increase the likelihood of adoption in the surrounding area by up to 44%. In other words, solar inspires solar. A well-executed rooftop system doesn’t just produce clean energy. It sends a signal. It tells a story of what’s possible and motivates others to act.

We created the LONGi EcoLife Program to help your project stand out and inspire others

We are so proud to tell you that we have launched our new case promotion program: The LONGi EcoLife Program - a Europe-wide initiative to celebrate the most inspiring and impactful solar projects completed using our Hi-MO X10 or Hi-MO S10 modules from the EcoLife Series which we recently launched.

We selected these two module types because they represent the highest-performing products in our DG portfolio. With industry-leading efficiency, outstanding real-world performance, and proven reliability, they are the most advanced back contact modules we have developed to date. They deliver technical excellence and strong financial returns through higher energy yield and long-term ROI. Guided by our EcoLife credo “From Roof to Life” and backed by a lifetime warranty, our goal is to share only the best. Because our customers deserve nothing less.

Your participation will be recognized and rewarded

Installers and EPCs working in the residential and commercial sectors are invited to share their completed projects and bring the story behind them to a broader audience. Distributors who know of a standout project are welcome to nominate their customers for participation.  

Whether it’s a family home that’s achieved full energy autonomy or a business, big or small, cutting emissions while reducing costs, or helping a local community, each case has the potential to inspire and lead by example.

At the heart of the program is the LONGi Best Case Award 2025, which honors projects not just for their technical execution but for the human stories and social relevance they represent. Selected cases will benefit from marketing or cash incentives, regional and international visibility, and the chance to be showcased at major events such as Intersolar 2026.

What are we looking for?

More than size or aesthetics, we value:

• A clear benefit to the user or the wider community

• Creative or challenging execution during the project

• A compelling personal or business motivation for going solar

• A story that could inspire others to follow suit

Who can apply?

• Installers or EPCs based in Europe, distributors can also nominate, who completed residential or small commercial (C&I) projects

• Projects must be using LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 or Hi-MO S10 modules (EcoLife Series)
