LONGi and BLING ENERGY partner to introduce high-performance back contact module Hi-MO S10 in Portugal

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 16^th May 2025 – Last week during Intersolar Europe, one of the world’s leading solar industry exhibitions, LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a global leader in solar technology, and BLING ENERGY S.A., a Portuguese company specialized in sustainable energy solutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to roll out the new Hi-MO S10 module across the Portuguese market throughout 2025.

LONGi Solar and BLING ENERGY have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the start of a strategic partnership aimed at distributing and jointly developing solar projects using LONGi’s latest high-performance technologies. The agreement was formalized by Hugo Fernández, General Manager of LONGi Solar DG for Southern Europe, and Tomás Botelho, Head of Operations at BLING ENERGY.

The Hi-MO S10 is tailored for the homeowner market

At the center of this collaboration is the Hi-MO S10, also called EcoLife Pro, from the all new EcoLife Series, a premium residential solar module that redefines photovoltaic performance and reliability. Featuring LONGi’s exclusive HBC (Heterojunction Back Contact) cell architecture, the Hi-MO S10 combines the passivation strength of heterojunction (HJT) technology with the light-trapping advantages of back contact designs. This enables industry-leading cell efficiency of up to 27.3% and module efficiency of up to 25%, making it the world’s first commercialized module based on this combined technology.

Available in bifacial full black (LR7-54HJBB) and transparent (LR7-54HJD) variants, the Hi-MO S10 delivers up to 510W of output with a power density of 250W/m², ideal for compact or shaded rooftops. The module can increase rooftop installation capacity by up to 9% compared to mainstream panels, significantly boosting energy autonomy for residential users.

LONGi’s proprietary TaiRay wafer technology increases mechanical strength by 16%, while rear-side bipolar passivation reduces hotspot temperatures by nearly 39% versus TOPCon cells. Combined with an ultra-low temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C) and industry-leading durability (snow loads up to 6000 Pa, wind up to 3600 Pa, Class A fire rating), the S10 sets a new benchmark for safe, long-term performance. Backed by a 30-year product and power warranty, the Hi-MO S10 is designed for lasting impact.
