Frankfurt, May 13, 2025 — During this year's Intersolar Europe, LONGi, a global leader in solar technology, announced significant sales milestones for distributed generation (DG), securing over 2 GW in signed agreements for its Hi-MO X10 HPBC 2.0 back-contact module and 500 MW for the newly launched Hi-MO S10 based on Heterojunction Back Contact (HBC) technology. Both high-performance modules are part of LONGi's premium end-user brand, the EcoLife series, introduced to meet the growing demand for reliable, high-efficiency residential and commercial solar energy solutions.

„Our performance at Intersolar reflects the trust our customers place in LONGi's ability to deliver best-in-class technology, backed by consistent performance and innovation,” said Jia Chao, President of LONGi Europe for DG. „The strong response to our EcoLife series, featuring the Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO S10, demonstrates the market's embrace of back-contact technology and the demand for high-yield, highly reliable solar solutions designed for today's customer needs. We are proud to be leading the charge in setting new standards for quality and performance.”

Hi-MO X10 Wins Smarter E Award 2025 for Performance, Reliability, and Excellent Design

The Hi-MO X10 was recognized for its contribution to advanced module technology through the integration of LONGi's proprietary second-generation Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC 2.0) technology, built upon the highly efficient LONGi TaiRay wafer. The judging panel further commended the module's zero busbar (0BB) structure and bipolar hybrid passivation technology, which deliver significant improvements in efficiency, mechanical properties, and reliability. The module's shading optimization technology additionally reduces power loss by 70% and lowers local temperatures by up to 28%, mitigating the risk of hotspots and system fires, according to the jury's summary. Overall, the Hi-MO X10 is set to establish new benchmarks for performance and reliability.

The module delivers a maximum output power of up to 670W for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications with a module efficiency of 24.8% and a cell efficiency of 26.6%, outperforming conventional TOPCon modules by as much as 30W. Its 54-cell residential-sized variant delivers 500W.

Hi-MO S10: The First Commercialized HBC Module for Real-World Applications

Building on LONGi's pioneering Heterojunction Back-Contact (HBC) technology, the Hi-MO S10 represents a breakthrough in module efficiency and durability. Combining the strengths of heterojunction passivation and back-contact design, the Hi-MO S10 achieves industry-leading performance metrics globally with a module efficiency of 25%. It also introduces enhanced safety features and superior low-light performance, ensuring maximum energy generation throughout the day. As part of the EcoLife series, the 54-cell bifacial premium module is designed for residential use and boasts a maximum output power of up to 510W, leading to a power density of 250 W/m². LONGi offers a 30-year warranty on both power and material.
