LONGi and Holaluz Announce Strategic Partnership at Intersolar to Launch S10 Module with HBC Technology in Spain

At Intersolar Europe in May 2025, the leading exhibition for the solar industry, LONGi Solar, a global leader in photovoltaic innovation, and the greentech Holaluz, a front-runner in Spain’s energy transition, announced a strategic partnership to introduce LONGi’s next-generation S10 module with Heterojunction Back Contact (HBC) technology to the Spanish market.

Hi-MO S10 module delivers industry-leading efficiency and thermal performance

The Hi-MO S10 (EcoLife Pro from the new EcoLife Series) module features HBC architecture, combining HJT passivation with back-contact light trapping, resulting in a certified cell efficiency of 27.3% and module efficiency of up to 25%. The module delivers up to 510 W of output power and a power density of 250 W/m², enabling up to 9% higher rooftop capacity versus conventional technologies.

Available in bifacial full black (LR7-54HJBB) and transparent (LR7-54HJD) formats, the S10 integrates TaiRay wafers for 16% improved mechanical strength and employs rear-side bipolar passivation, which reduces hotspot temperature by up to ~39% compared to TOPCon modules. Additional performance specs include a -0.24%/°C temperature coefficient, 6000 Pa snow load, 3600 Pa wind resistance, and a 30-year performance warranty, making it one of the most robust residential modules available.

Agreement establishes LONGi as preferred supplier for Holaluz projects

Under the new agreement, LONGi will become the preferred module supplier for Holaluz’s portfolio of residential and distributed generation installations across Spain. The S10 will serve as a flagship product within Holaluz’s self-consumption offering, aligning with Spain’s strategic push toward decentralized and high-efficiency solar solutions.
